Welcome to Day 12 of my personal month-late NaPoWriMo challenge. You can check out my previous post here, or click here for Day 1.
Prompt 12:
I know it’s a massive cliche but I can’t resist: tell me about your childhood. Write a poem reflecting on a childhood memory. Here are some great ideas to explore:
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Who was your best friend? Are you still close? What happened?
What was your favorite game to play?
What was your least favorite thing to do as a kid, and how do you see that thing now?
If you try this, or any of the prompts I’m sharing throughout this month, let me know! If you try a prompt on your blog, share the link! I’ll check it out.
I also love to read any thoughts or writing tips you may have. Feel free to share them in the comments!
