Writing prompt!
Large family gatherings can be stressful. Write a short story about a wedding or funeral, and throw a kink in the plans. Use the photo above as a starting point. Make a minor problem spiral out of control. Or, include one or more of the following characters:
- A drunk relative making a speech that’s well meant, but is really causing a scene.
- A child with a sugar high getting into mischief
- A friend of the person the event is for trying to maintain order, but making almost as many blunders as a drunk relative and getting increasingly flustered.
