Poem a Day in May Prompt 13: Angry

Welcome to Day 13 of my personal month-late NaPoWriMo challenge. You can check out my previous post here, or click here for Day 1.

Prompt 13: Angry

What drives you nuts? Now’s your chance to write a poem about everything that makes you furious.

You can go the lighter route and talk about your biggest pet peeves–or maybe something fairly universal, like road rage.

You can even go political. Spend a few stanzas mocking a presidential candidate of your choice, or railing against an injustice. Or you can write a poem directed at someone specific–someone you’d yell at if you weren’t so nice. But you are, so–poem time!

If you try this, or any of the prompts I’m sharing throughout this month, let me know! If you try a prompt on your blog, share the link! I’ll check it out.

I also love to read any thoughts or writing tips you may have. Feel free to share them in the comments!

  1. Aw…I wish I could say that I responded to the prompt. That’s so much of my poetry *anyway* though so it probably wouldn’t be fair of me to try to claim that.
