Poem a Day in May Prompt 21: Medicine

Welcome to Day 21 of my personal month-late NaPoWriMo challenge. You can check out my previous post here, or click here for Day 1.

Prompt 21: Medicine

Write a poem about hospitals, doctors’ offices, or something tangentially related to medicine. What is their significance to you? Have you ever had to spend a lot of time at one, maybe for yourself or for a loved one? What was that experience like? Maybe write about a time you were sick, regardless of the severity. Or a time someone close to you was sick. You could write about what the medicine you took as a kid tasted like, or about the day your grandmother’s mercury thermometer broke on the floor. What a mess!

If you try this, or any of the prompts I’m sharing throughout this month, let me know! If you try a prompt on your blog, share the link! I’ll check it out.

I also love to read any thoughts or writing tips you may have. Feel free to share them in the comments!
